Aquilegia - Red Star

Aquilegia Red Star - Five perfect shaped red petals, each with a tiny white tip. White petals are framed by a layer of red sepals, creating a star effect.  Early Summer cottage garden favourite produces striking, long spurred blooms year after year. Makes an ideal cut flower. Aquilegia also know as "Grannys Bonnet"! Produces masses of 3 -5 cm blooms on slender stems amid lovely grey - green foliage Very easy to grow, just plant in full sun or semi-shade in well wroked soil taht is free draining. Keep plants moist during hot weathr. Planting can be done anytime from Spring to early Summer.
