Pearls of Cherry

Nerines need a light well drained soil of average fertility with not too much nitrogen. Place the bulbs in a sunny position with the shoulder of the bulbs showing above the ground. Space them approximately 8 - 10 cm apart in bold group or in ribbon borders. To grow longer stems 5% shade is beneficial. Nerines naturalise very well when left undisturbed and a dressing of bulb fertilizer, once a year after flowering, will encourage vigorous bulb growth.
