Amaryllis Belladonna Major

This is one of the old time favorites that we all look forward to seeing in late Summer. Their amazing blush pink blooms on 50-70cm stems with no foliage are always a welcome eye catching site. These are very hardy specimen and naturalize very well in almost any area that is not wet and has at least 65% sun. The foliage will not be eaten by animals which gives this plant the opportunity to provide years of naturalized enjoyment.
Plant the bulb half in the soil with the neck protruding and firm down the soil around it well. Place bulbs about 10cm apart to allow room for their young to come. Remove the seed pods each season to encourage growth back into the bulb.
